Tudor "Home Plate" Monte
Carlo chronographs, so nicknamed due to the hour markers resembling the
home plate used in baseball, are increasingly hot watches. They, of
course, inspired the Tudor Heritage Chronograph with gray and black
dials. There just are not many originals in existence and to find one in
clean, unpolished condition is even rarer. These are becoming one of the
most collectible vintage watches on the market today. It has been
referred to as the "poor man's Paul Newman" Rolex Daytona. In fact
these watches have become so popular that Tudor has resume making a
newer model of this watch which retails for around $3,500-$4,000
